Fairfax & Favor SS20

It started with a pair of boots, a pair of black suede Reginas to be precise . . . Followed by a pair of Amiras, to my latest loves . . . the Monaco Espadrilles. Teamed with a black Windsor handbag . . . The list has potential to grow. So what makes Fairfax & Favor so addictive?

These shoes as well as looking amazing, stand the test of time; from the boxing day hunt to beachside sunsets they are a brand that bridges country and town. Fairfax & Favor designs versatile footwear and accessories that intertwine classic country style with a modern city aesthetic. Co-founded by childhood friends Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker, Fairfax & Favor celebrates fun and adventure with its spirited take on British culture and heritage.

The brand appeals to both men and women, who love a good story just as much as they appreciate high-quality products that will last a lifetime; and they do. Snow, rain and mud of course, they brush up good as new.

As summer days call for brighter shades and prints, they have introduced three new collections; Jaguar Haircalf, Khaki suede and Raspberry suede. Their womenswear lines have been extended, boundaries have been pushed within the accessories collection and the men’s offering has been completely relaunched, with refined shapes, elevated style and improved comfort and fit.

You’ll also find a range of crafted pieces to take you from your nine-to-five to sundowners in the garden, including everyday-luxe tote bags and the Monaco Espadrille in wedges or flats. They’ve updated their range of Windsor handbags too, adding a luxurious pomovero soft leather option, I’m totally all over their Tetbury bag, their latest SS20 offering too!

The present collection is the most comprehensive and ambitious that Fairfax & Favor has ever designed and I’m totally smitten. Lastly, with this summer’s uncertainty and following their Breast Campaign that raised an amazing five figure sum, they have introduced limited edition boot tassels for Covid 19 Urgent Appeal. Co-founders Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker have designed a special limited-edition navy and white NHS suede tassel, with 100% of profits being donated to the NHS Charities Together Campaign.

For this latest initiative, Fairfax & Favor hope to raise a further £40,000 for the charity. In the past, the brand has received unprecedented support for their charity campaigns, from their loyal followers and customers, social influencers and celebrities alike.

So far, famous faces including ITV Racing Presenters Francesca Cumani and Rosie Tapner and social influencers Cara Sutherland and Laura Blair to name a few, have committed to supporting the campaign. Fairfax & Favor Co-Founders Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker said of the campaign; “We would like to thank our fantastic customers for supporting Fairfax & Favor and the NHS Charities COVID-19 Urgent Appeal trust during this unprecedented time of uncertainty. By working together and supporting those in need we will not only create hope but create a more certain future for everyone affected.
