The Grand Prix Ball has become a firm favourite and fixture in the social season in England, it is hosted annually by F1 drivers and F1 Pundits: David Coulthard, Christian Horner, Eddie Jordan and Tiff Needell.
This year the Grand Prix Ball 2017 was held at The Hurlingham Club, ahead of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The event hosted a garnered star-studded celebrity guest-list and included performances from The Gipsy Kings, Seb Fontaine, Emily Haig, ballet performances and F1 live car demonstrations in the grounds.
David Coulthard commented: ”The Grand Prix Ball was created 6 years ago to support charities and we are proud to have created a long-term partnership with a National UK charity Wings for Life, a spinal cord research foundation, which has special and personal associations for us.”
Established in 2011, The Grand Prix Ball has become one of London’s social calendar musts for the glitterati to attend ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Glamour and F1 go hand in hand and the fashionable elite mingled with Formula 1 drivers, pundits and iconic Formula 1 cars, whilst being entertained with live performances by award winning artists, Gipsy Kings and Emily Haig and DJs Seb Fontaine.
The event saw special Live F1 demonstrations and displays for guests on the red carpet and the opportunity to get up close and personal to everything Formula1.
There was also an entertaining thrilling live auction in support of Wings for Life for guests to bid on special motor sport-related lots. Auction prizes included a stay on a luxury yacht hosted by Eddie Jordan!
Bespoke Black Book looks forward to attending again next year and hobnobbing with the F1 elite!
