I absolutely love trying out new products for my skin so when I was offered to try a range from SKINKISSED I was ready!
I have some pigmentation and some old scars, but also I’m thirty something now so my skin isn’t what it used to be. Did I hear everyone saying “you don’t look a day over twenty five”, oh gosh thank you. No but in all seriousness, we need to care for our skin, it gets more fragile with age but also all of the pollution and daily stresses takes its toll.
I received a cute pink box filled with goodies from SKINKISSED. Opening the box I saw cute matt black and pastel accented minimalistic products, perfect for showing off on my bathroom shelf, always a nice touch.
Let us start with washing our makeup off with the Face Cleanser. First thing I notice is that it has a very subtle fragrance to it which is nice because I don’t personally like overpowering products, but something that I really liked was that a little goes a long way! You need a very little amount of cleanser to wash your entire face. My makeup came off easily and it left my face moisturised due to the Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil extract inside to help nourish and repair your skin.
After washing my face I move on to one of SKINKISSED best selling product, the Flawless Face Serum. I have tried quite a few serums and struggled with them either smelling quite strongly or not absorbing into my skin well enough. Three drops on my fingertips and a gentle massage to my face and I can tell not only is it enough to cover everywhere but it doesn’t feel sticky nor does it leave any residue.
The face Serum can also be used before applying makeup but I preferred to have it as part of my evening routine. I can tell my pigmentation looks better and my face in general is much more moisturised and I actual dare say, my skin looks healthier and younger! The serum holds really important antioxidants, Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid all treats for your skin. I can see how this is a best seller.
And like the cherry on top I ended my new routine with the Face Cream. I have quite dry skin and some creams no matter how highly rated just doesn’t moisturise enough. But I am yet again happily surprised that a little goes a long way and the face cream beautifully and completely keeps my skin happy and moisturised. Like the Face Cleanser we see Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil in this product but also Arbutin Extract which helps brighten and even out the appearance of your skin.
These amazing products were created by Eli Cohen, who wanted to create high quality natural products at an affordable price tag. He wanted people to enjoy the skin they are in instead of hiding. He wanted to create products that help to naturally aid acne, scarring and pigmentation so that maybe we all can use a little less filters in our social media lives. His biggest inspiration was his daughter, who helped him to create the products that will help people feel more confident. The name itself, SKINKISSED, comes from the lightweight texture which almost feels like something that kisses the skin when applied, so sweet!
But something that really touched me is that 20% out of the company’s profits is donated to multiple charities each year. I can definitely see how this has become such a popular line of products, and I for one am super happy to be part of it.
