The hair journey continues, and many of you have followed me on this journey to support my fragile Scandinavian locks. Whether you are using a lot of heated tools, maybe backcombing a la 60s or just want to take more care of your hair after a normal day of outside stresses I have a few products to recommend.
Knot today, Hair
After having washed my hair I have to be so careful when detangling these strands, more often than not I will find myself with a knot that Iβll have to cut out basically. So I am very much open to anything supporting this situation. Alterna has so kindly sent me two products to help, and they are part of their Caviar Anti Aging collection.
My first product is their Replenishing Moisture Leave-In Conditioning Milk, simply take 3 to 5 pumps and distribute throughout your hair. It not only helps detangling instantly but it also drenches your hair with moisture and leaves it soft and shiny. This is great for me, as mine is always thirsty!
If I want to give an even more intense shot of moisture to your locks then I will use their Ceramide Shots. Single dose fully biodegradable capsules holding a very potent ceramide shot. Simply twist off the top empty content onto your hands before applying.Β And here itβs best to apply from mid-lengths to ends, suitable on both wet and dry hair. Your hair is left super soft, less frizzy, strengthened and protected from further breakage, and of course, moisturised.
Something that is really helpful for me and also leaves my hair looking all smooth after having dried is a hair oil, I used to think this would just make it more oily looking but how wrong I was. My ends are definitely thanking me. Virtue has sent me their Correct Healing Oil in a travel size which is perfect for those beach days in Greece. The next product is something you can share with your hubby especially if heβs working on that prize-winning beard. OK so we have washed out our hair and given it moisture and shine, letβs look at your brush. Iβm not going to lie I am not known to put much thought into my brushes, I probably never clean them ( sorry! ) and donβt know much about what I need in this area. I donβt style my locks much and after my first round-brush disaster resulting in having to cut off hair at the scalp I am weary but obviously in need of support.
